A powerful tool used for researching malware network traffic and for forensic analysis of public packet-capture (PCAP) files related to wireless networks, cybersecurity incidents and cyber threats, and network performance troubleshooting. It provides a workspace for virtual private network files and collaboration with the user’s team, making it a comprehensive solution for all your cybersecurity needs.
2Challenge
Creating a digital web app that can analyze PCAP files was a complex challenge that required specialized skills and knowledge of network access control protocols, cybersecurity, data loss prevention techniques, sensitive data analytics, industrial network security and web development. PCAP files contain a vast amount of data and require sophisticated algorithms to extract useful information. Our web app needed to be able to read, parse, and analyze the PCAP files to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential threats in the network traffic, such as malicious software.
3Solution
During web app development, we ensured that the application could quickly process vast amounts of data and that it did it in the most secure way. To achieve this, we implemented the best possible practices for data security such as implementing firewalls to restrict and monitor network traffic and access to applications, dividing the infrastructure into subnets with controlled access, or dividing the application modules and locating it on dedicated accounts within the organization. We also planned and designed an interface of PCAP analysis tools in a manner that made it accessible and easy to understand for users working on data and computer networks security.
